Bawadekji Tex.

Is a family owned business. Established by four brothers in 1934.Today,the company is
a leading producer of textile products in Syria,with complete lines for textile knitting,
dyeing, finishing and confections.

The History of Bawadekji Tex. Co.

Goes back to July 1934 when we opened a workshop for the production of underwear
sold in the local markets.

In 1954, we purchased the first circular knitting machine and started the production of
weft knitted fabrics.

Our first major expansion was in 1960, where more circular knitting machine were added.
In 1972, we started focusing on the export market, moving to a new factory in the Zurbe
industrial area outside the city.

In 1984, complete dyeing and finishing production lines were added enabling us to produce in-house the finished products from yarn to ready-to-wear garments.

1987 was another important year as our export market shifted to Western Europe exporting to countries like Germany and France. This triggered another major expansion in 1990.

We are continuously expanding by keeping a close eye on new technologies that we can add to our production line. So to be able to better adhere to our client needs of quality and production.
